About Us
Axle Health builds scheduling and workforce management software to empower in-home healthcare providers to deliver exceptional, personalized care right where patients feel most comfortable—at home.
Some of the biggest providers in the country use our software (like Cityblock Health and GrandCare) to improve the utilization of their field teams by 17%+, and automate the operational burden of scheduling and dispatching.
Our platform includes proprietary logistics algorithms to optimize scheduling, a mobile app for field staff, an operations dashboard for office teams, engagement and booking tools for patients, and a wide range of integrations and external APIs for modular access.
We’re a team of top-tier engineers and operators, backed by $14m from top investors such as Y Combinator, Pear VC, and F-Prime, applying our intellect and logistics experience to upend how home healthcare is delivered.
About You
We're looking for a hands-on Senior Product Manager who can take ownership of critical product initiatives and drive execution across our roadmap. You'll collaborate closely with engineering and program management to scope, prioritize, and ship features that revolutionize home healthcare logistics and operations. This is a senior individual contributor role reporting to our Head of Product, where you'll have significant autonomy to shape products and features that directly impact clinician productivity and patient care.
Our ideal candidate has built category-defining products in logistics or operations technology, preferably within health tech. You thrive in fast-moving startup environments where iteration speed and cross-functional collaboration are essential. You're comfortable working directly with engineers to break down complex problems, and you can seamlessly partner with program managers to ensure what you build creates real-world impact for healthcare providers.
What You'll Do
Own end-to-end product execution for key features within our scheduling, route optimization, and patient engagement platforms—from discovery through launch and iteration
Work iteratively with engineering teams to scope features, make intelligent trade-offs, and accelerate delivery of high-impact roadmap initiatives
Partner closely with program management to understand operational workflows, gather requirements from home healthcare providers, and ensure solutions fit seamlessly into clinical operations
Develop deep empathy for clinicians and patients through direct user research, ride-alongs, and continuous feedback loops
Use data analysis and customer insights to prioritize features, validate hypotheses, and measure success metrics
Translate business objectives and user needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Drive product discovery by identifying opportunities within logistics and operations workflows where technology can create step-function improvements
Collaborate with design to create intuitive user experiences for both web and mobile platforms used by clinicians in the field
Contribute to competitive analysis and market positioning within the home healthcare technology landscape
Requirements
7+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping impactful products at high-growth startups
Health tech experience with deep understanding of healthcare operations, provider workflows, or clinical care delivery; OR demonstrated success building products in logistics, operations, scheduling, or workforce management domains
Experience working in early-stage startup environments (Seed through Series B) where you've had to build iteratively with limited resources
Track record of defining and implementing data and analytics to drive product decisions in operational or logistics contexts
Strong technical fluency and ability to work hands-on with engineering teams to make scope and architecture decisions
Proven ability to collaborate across engineering and program management functions to drive alignment and execution velocity
Excellent communication skills with ability to influence without authority and build consensus across stakeholders
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field, business, or equivalent professional experience
Nice to Have
Background building category-defining products that established new standards in logistics or operations technology
Previous experience as a Saas Product Manager for enterprise level products or platforms
Previous experience as a software engineer or technical background that enables deep collaboration with engineering teams
Familiarity with healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, etc.) and building in regulated environments
Experience with mobile product development, particularly applications used by field workers or clinicians
Experience working with AI/ML-powered features, agentic products, or optimization algorithms
Experience with communication platforms and integrations (e.g. Twilio API, etc.)
