What will you do?

As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in optimizing the operational performance of both our Claims and Customer Service functions. You will own and maintain stakeholder relationships to gather requirements, translate requirements into organized workflows, and deliver actionable analysis. You will be accountable for data quality, report accuracy, model integrity, and the business impact of the analytics function. This role requires a self-starter who can proactively identify opportunities to add value.

In the first few months, you will:

• Develop a strong working knowledge of Clearcover products, features, and related data sources.
• Direct changes to our warehouse data models when you identify gaps.
• Document your work thoroughly, understanding the importance of clear documentation as the company grows.
• Have ample opportunities to solve complex problems and deliver solutions with real business impact.
• Support company-wide metrics creation, alignment, and reporting to provide context and clarity through intuitive data definitions and structures.

What do you need?

• Significant experience with P&C auto claims data and processes is essential.
• Experience in customer service (CX) data analytics is highly desirable.
• Advanced SQL ability necessary for discovering, manipulating, and exporting data to support external data requests.
• Significant experience working with complex data.
• Demonstrated work experience with at least one BI tool (Looker is preferred).
• Experience prioritizing and executing simultaneously on multiple tasks.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a workload comprising short-term, long-term, and ad hoc projects.

Nice to haves:

• Experience as a claims adjuster and/or customer service representative prior to working in an analytics capacity. That contextual, first person experience can be incredibly impactful.
• Some experience with Python or other scripting programming languages.
• Experience with Zendesk data
• Experience with DBT (Data Build Tool).
• Experience with version control tools (Github, Bitbucket).

Base Compensation Range:

$110,000 - $140,000 (USD) annually
