The Role: We are hiring a talented copywriter to join our Medical Copywriting Team. You will work alongside a group of doctors, writers, and editors to help our clinicians educate consumers about exciting products in the world of health and wellness. Your writing will be featured on brand webpages and will help millions of shoppers make more informed decisions about their preventive health.

Type: Contract (full-time)
Responsibilities:
- Gathering research, analyzing scientific claims, and drafting short-form web content using a multi-phase AI-assisted workflow
- Simplifying complex scientific concepts and research so that they are accessible to everyday consumers while preserving clinical rigor.
- Ensure citation accuracy, positively framed language (no marketing or curative claims), correct formatting, and alignment with product page claims before submitting for team QA.
- Responsibly and creatively leverage AI tools to improve efficiency as we scale our partnerships with DTC wellness brands.
- Communicate when product pages are inconsistent, dosage info is missing, or an ingredient lacks sufficient research to support claims.
Qualifications:
- Has at least one year of experience writing consumer-facing health content
- Can quickly learn and explain complex medical information so that it is accessible to the average consumer
- Understands how stylistic elements (diction, syntax, etc.) can build trust and convey meaning to a target audience
- Excels at finding creative angles to write about similar ideas (i.e., you can communicate the same concept multiple times in different ways)
- Is detail-oriented and obsessively committed to delivering mistake-free writing
- Is passionate about health and wellness (bonus points if you have medical training or personal experiences that may help you write about health products).
- Enjoys collaborating with other writers and is receptive to regular feedback
- Thrives in a scrappy, fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and time constraints
