Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR) – Outbound Lead Generation
Job Type: Full-time
Location: In-person (5 days/week; relocation available)
Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $65,000–$90,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $95,000–$125,000 (1/3 : 2/3 split)

Job Summary

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be at the front line of our sales motion—identifying, engaging, and qualifying high-value prospects for our Account Executive team. You’ll use a mix of outbound prospecting, strategic research, and personalized outreach to generate pipeline and open new opportunities.

This is a high-impact role for someone eager to break into tech sales or take their early sales career to the next level. Success here comes with clear opportunities to grow into closing roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research target accounts to identify decision-makers and potential opportunities
  • Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure fit before passing to AEs
  • Book meetings and demos for the sales team with qualified prospects
  • Maintain accurate records of outreach, activity, and pipeline in the CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales leadership to refine messaging and targeting

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking with senior decision-makers
  • Self-motivated and competitive, with a drive to exceed activity and pipeline goals
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate a complex product offering
  • Highly organized with excellent time management skills
  • Open to recent graduates with strong technical aptitude and an interest in sales

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months–2 years of BDR/SDR or outbound sales experience (SaaS preferred)
  • Experience in a product-led growth (PLG) environment
  • Familiarity with sales tools such as Salesforce, Outreach, Apollo, or SalesLoft
