Job Title: Business Development Representative (BDR) – Entry Level
Job Type: Full-time
Location: In-person (New York City; relocation available)
Compensation:

  • Base Salary: $65,000
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $108,000 (uncapped commission)

About the Role

This is an entry-level sales role for someone looking to start or pivot into a career in tech sales. You’ll focus on top-of-funnel outreach and lead generation—booking qualified meetings for our Account Executives—while learning directly from experienced sales leaders in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with modern sales strategies including social selling, personalized outreach, and event networking, building a strong foundation for long-term success in sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Book a set number of qualified meetings per month with target accounts
  • Prospect using cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, email, and personalized video messages
  • Build relationships with decision-makers in marketing, revenue operations, and sales leadership
  • Share relevant content on LinkedIn to build credibility and attract inbound interest
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities in NYC to drive new business
  • Keep detailed records of all activity and pipeline in the CRM

Requirements

  • Based in or willing to relocate to New York City
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (open to non-degree candidates with proven sales aptitude)
  • Strong work ethic, coachability, and motivation to succeed in a competitive environment
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand go-to-market strategies and revenue operations
  • Comfortable with high-volume outbound outreach and learning new tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior outbound sales, lead generation, or customer-facing experience (internships included)
  • Understanding of B2B sales processes and prospecting tools
