We’re a hyper-growth SaaS startup that scaled from $0 to $8M revenue in just 16 months — now at ~$18M and climbing fast. Backed by top-tier investors including Signal Fire, with notable angels like Odell Beckham Jr. and Reece James, we’ve proven product-market fit without a sales team.

Now we’re hiring our first-ever AE to build the sales motion from scratch. This is a chance to own outbound, close revenue directly, and set yourself up for leadership as we scale toward $100M+.

The Opportunity

This isn’t a classic AE role. We’re looking for someone ruthless about outbound — cold calling, sourcing, and closing all in one. Our sales cycles are lightning fast (2–5 minutes), so you’ll be running a full-cycle, high-velocity motion where you eat what you kill.

If you’ve sold to real-world SMBs — think dentists, physicians, HVAC shops, pharmacies, hotel owners — you know how to connect with decision-makers and close quickly. This role is perfect for someone with relentless energy, a hunter mindset, and the drive to win at all costs.

What You’ll Do

  • Run a full-cycle outbound motion: cold call, prospect, and close back-to-back deals
  • Own high-volume cold calling (200+ dials/day) and close on the first call
  • Target brick-and-mortar SMBs with real revenue (7–8 figure businesses)
  • Experiment with multiple outbound channels — phone, email, in-person drop-ins — to hit quota
  • Build the sales process alongside the founders, laying the foundation for future GTM growth
  • Bring scrappiness, grit, and a competitive edge to a company in hyper-growth mode

Requirements

  • Experience selling to brick-and-mortar SMBs (e.g., patient management software, POS systems, business SaaS)
  • Proven outbound/cold calling track record — thrives in high-volume, high-pressure environments
  • Comfortable closing quickly (short sales cycles, 2–5 minutes)
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and willing to do whatever it takes to win
  • Excited by the ambiguity and pace of an early-stage startup
  • Willing to relocate to NYC (no remote, no visa sponsorship)
