The Opportunity
Our partner is hiring a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work directly with enterprise customers and internal teams to ensure successful deployments. This role is deeply hands-on: you’ll partner with Strategic Partnerships and product/engineering to implement, troubleshoot, and adapt workflows in the field—helping customers realize value quickly and creating reusable patterns the company can scale.
You’ll operate at the intersection of engineering, customer outcomes, and product feedback, with significant autonomy and direct impact on enterprise expansion.
Responsibilities
- Support enterprise deployments end-to-end: implementation planning, technical configuration, troubleshooting, and go-live support
- Work directly with customer stakeholders to understand workflows and translate requirements into technical solutions
- Build lightweight tools, scripts, or automations to accelerate deployments and reduce friction
- Partner closely with Strategic Partnerships to ensure a seamless customer experience and clear accountability
- Create tight feedback loops with product/engineering, surfacing issues and opportunities with clarity and urgency
- Document deployment patterns, runbooks, and reusable implementation templates
- Travel to customer sites as needed to support onboarding, launches, and critical milestones
Requirements
- 2+ years in a technical role (software engineering, solutions engineering, implementation engineering, systems engineering, or similar)
- Ability to build and ship pragmatic solutions quickly (scripts, integrations, automations, or lightweight product extensions)
- Strong problem-solving skills and comfort operating in ambiguity
- Excellent communication skills for working with non-technical and technical stakeholders
- Comfort working onsite in NYC (five days flexible) and traveling as needed
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with high standards and rapid iteration
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting enterprise customers in production environments
- Familiarity with APIs, data workflows, integrations, and modern tooling
- Prior experience in healthcare or regulated industries
