About the Company (our partner)

Our partner is a fast-growing, venture-backed healthcare technology company using AI to modernize operational workflows for healthcare providers. They’re a lean, high-ownership team with strong momentum and ambitious growth plans, backed by top-tier investors and scaling quickly across sales and engineering.

The Opportunity

Our partner is hiring Strategy & Operations Leads to help scale the business during a period of rapid growth. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role working directly with the CEO and partnering closely with sales and engineering to stand up new processes, improve execution, and build internal playbooks.

The work is intentionally cross-functional and will shift quarter-to-quarter based on the company’s priorities—e.g., one quarter improving implementations, another quarter standardizing recruiting/hiring workflows, another building foundational marketing operations. The goal is to build repeatable systems, then eventually hire specialists to own those functions long-term.

Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional operational initiatives across the company (e.g., implementations, business operations, recruiting/hiring workflows, marketing ops)
  • Build and document scalable processes, systems, and playbooks; create structure where it doesn’t exist yet
  • Partner with sales and engineering leadership to prioritize projects, unblock execution, and improve team throughput
  • Own project plans end-to-end: define the problem, propose solutions, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver outcomes
  • Identify gaps, propose improvements, and push initiatives forward with minimal oversight
  • Support occasional customer-facing projects (e.g., implementation support or customer case-study coordination), as needed

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional experience preferred (flexible for exceptional candidates)
  • Proven ability to operate as a smart generalist: adaptable, resourceful, and effective across ambiguous problem spaces
  • Strong execution skills: can take initiative, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver outcomes quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders
  • Willingness to work onsite in NYC 5 days/week
  • High integrity, collaborative working style, and comfort in a fast-paced startup environment

Nice to have

  • Background in consulting, investment banking, private equity, finance, or similar high-intensity environments
  • Prior startup experience (especially in operations or strategy roles)
  • Experience building internal processes (0→1) and scaling them (1→n)
  • Healthcare familiarity (not required)
