About the Company

Our partner is a Y Combinator-backed, seed-stage AI company building a revenue platform for sales teams. Their product brings agents, automation, and analytics to the entire revenue stack, handling the operational work reps and managers deal with every day while surfacing deep insights for sales leadership. The team is small, fast-moving, and growing 25-30% month over month, currently limited mainly by how quickly they can add great people.

The Opportunity

This is a true founding sales hire. You will own and build the outbound motion from the ground up, turning early experiments into a repeatable playbook while still closing deals yourself. There is real product feedback baked into the role: because the company sells to revenue teams and uses its own product, your input will directly shape what gets built, and you will work closely with engineering to scope and spec features.

You will thrive here if you love high ownership, move fast, and want your fingerprints on both the sales engine and the product. The founders set a high bar and want someone who raises it.

Responsibilities

  • Build, test, and refine the outbound playbook from early-stage foundations into a repeatable, scalable motion
  • Run full-cycle sales, generating your own pipeline rather than relying solely on inbound
  • Close new business and own deals end to end
  • Act as a product partner, translating customer and market feedback into clear input for the engineering team
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to scope and spec product improvements
  • Help establish the systems and processes that future sales hires will build on

Requirements

  • Closing experience as an Account Executive, ideally at an early-stage startup
  • Strong outbound skills with the ability to build pipeline independently
  • High ownership and initiative; comfortable operating with ambiguity and little structure
  • Skilled at giving clear product feedback and communicating with technical teams
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and able to perform under pressure
  • Bonus: experience selling a technical product or working closely with product/engineering in a prior sales role
