About the Role
:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) to join our team. You’ll contribute to Super.com’s strategy by validating our applications meet design specifications and requirements. You’ll embed in product engineering teams, participate in Agile practices, and help develop test cases that can be later used by our automation end to end tests. You’ll conduct exploratory testing across our products, run bug bash sessions, ensure operational metrics for your teams are met, and that our products meet the highest quality for our customers. You’ll act as an owner for the quality of your supported team’s releases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute tests by leveraging product specifications, designs, and known context.

  • Verify high and moderate risk changes prior to production release

  • Ensure that your teams maintain low bug:feature rates and low bug escape rates

  • Communicate effectively within both your embedded teams and the broader Quality organization, sharing challenges and learnings proactively

  • Track your findings and projects effectively by adhering to our QA processes

  • Perform Exploratory Testing Sessions to ensure a high percent of bugs are found by the QA team prior to customers reporting them

  • Participate and play an active role in daily scrums, weekly grooming sessions, and all sprint rituals for each Mission Aligned Team you are apart of

  • Verify reported bug findings quickly and reliably, ensuring verified bugs are both tracked and actioned

  • Proactively contribute to overall process improvement initiatives, actively review and challenge current process

  • Perform root cause analysis on bugs that come in from production, actioning the findings to improve the team’s effectiveness

  • Gather, maintain, and socialize key metrics around software testing activities

Preferred Experience

  • ​​5+ years in Software Quality Assurance

  • Experience writing and maintaining clear and effective test cases

  • Highly motivated and a strong sense of ownership - a true go-getter intent on squashing all the bugs

  • Experience being embedded in, and supporting, multiple teams

  • Ready to bring and share perspectives and learnings from past roles

  • Proven track record of analyzing and solving complex problems

  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills

  • Experience authoring, maintaining, and executing written test cases

  • Critical thinking, attention to detail, and proven success in problem solving

  • Experience working in fast-paced technology companies following agile principals

  • Experience managing product, engineering, and design stakeholders

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with the Jira requirements management system

  • Familiar with data tooling such as Datadog, Amplitude, and similar

  • Experience with the Git software revision control system

  • Experience in Fintech, Travel, and subscription-based platforms

Compensation Range: $75K - $99K
