About this role
As People & Culture Intern, you will support the People team with key HR functions such as employee onboarding and offboarding, employee engagement, data integrity, and various HR programs such as DE&I, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Social & Wellness initiatives. You will assist in maintaining communication with employees, provide administrative support to the HR team members, and contribute to promoting a healthy, inclusive, and productive organizational culture.

What you'll be working on:
Support the onboarding process for new hires by setting up HRIS profiles, completing new hire scheduling, and coordinating orientation logistics.
Assist with offboarding processes by tracking company property returns and assisting with exit procedures.
Assist in maintaining employee records including HRIS updates and employee documentation, learning compliance requirements, and adhering to confidentiality protocols.
Contribute to company programs such as Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Wellness initiatives by providing administrative support
Manage our People Team inbox and Slack channel, including answering inquiries and connecting employees with the right People Team member to support.
Support the Manager, P&C in key programs such as Performance Evaluations, surveys, and participating in the Joint Health and Safety Committee
Support the creation of HR reports by gathering data on employee metrics
Assist with the implementation of HR projects and initiatives, as needed

Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

What We Offer:
Home Office Setup Allowance: $300 one-time
Friday UberEats Allowance: $25/week
Learning & Development Allowance: $300/ per term
Fitness/Wellness Allowance: $120/per term
Candidates can be based anywhere in Canada, provided they maintain a minimum 6-hour overlap with the Eastern Time Zone and are available to work a 40-hour work week.
