As Senior Cook, you will oversee kitchen operations, plan and prepare fresh, balanced menus tailored to the needs of both staff and professional players, and ensure exceptional food service from start to finish. This role combines culinary expertise with operational management, ensuring food quality, hygiene, and efficiency at all times.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Kitchen Management
- Oversee all kitchen operations to ensure high-quality service, efficiency, and compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
- Uphold kitchen cleanliness, organization, and equipment upkeep.
- Monitor food stock levels and maintain accurate inventory control.
- Manage day-to-day kitchen activities, with the potential to supervise additional kitchen staff in the future.
- Meal Planning & Preparation
- Design and prepare weekly menus, including special dietary and player-focused options.
- Prepare breakfast, lunch, and occasional dinners with consistent quality and presentation.
- Manage cooking times and temperatures for optimal results.
- Develop new recipes and improve existing dishes.
- Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Source and purchase high-quality ingredients and supplies.
- Negotiate with suppliers for the best value and quality.
- Oversee storage conditions to maintain freshness and safety.
- Inspect deliveries to ensure quality standards are met.
- Teamwork & Events
- Participate in team meetings to align on menu planning and operations.
- Assist with food preparation for internal events.
- Stay informed on culinary trends and player nutrition best practices.
What You’ll Need:
- Proven experience as a cook in industrial kitchens, restaurants, or catering services.
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and food preparation.
- Experience designing balanced, varied menus.
- Skilled in food purchasing and inventory management.
- Familiarity with hygiene and food safety regulations.
- Management and team coordination abilities.
- Highly organized, proactive, and accountable.
You'll Earn Bonus Points If You Have:
- Degree or certification in Gastronomy or related field.
This is a position with a PJ (Pessoa Jurídica) type of contract.
