Responsibilities:

  • Oversee assigned Report Generation workflows (RP, QC, or nP).

  • Lead cross-functional teams of scientists, analysts, and medical professionals, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality, accurate project outcomes.

  • Consistently evaluate business functions and processes to uncover opportunities for improvement.

  • Collaborate across product, regulatory, quality, pathology, science, trials, lab, and R&D teams to scale initiatives, support product requests, and manage roadmap execution.

  • Develop and implement operational strategies that drive cross-functional efficiency and enable scalable growth.

  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure targets are met and workflows remain aligned with broader organizational goals.

  • Support the definition of project scopes, objectives, and deliverables aligned with company goals.

  • Oversee project communications, metrics, and stakeholder updates.

  • May involve managing and supervising direct reports.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Biological Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field), or equivalent experience.

  • Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented, with a strong focus on accuracy.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Effective at conflict resolution and team facilitation.

  • Proven leadership and team development experience.

  • Experience leading or contributing to organizational change initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of database principles, structures, and best practices, with hands-on experience in tools such as Looker.

  • Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies in dynamic environments.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities and drive results under deadlines.

  • Proficient in managing Protected Health Information (PHI) workflows with a strong understanding of HIPAA and related regulatory frameworks.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability with sharp analytical, interpersonal, and multitasking skills.

  • Highly adaptable and effective in high-ambiguity, fast-changing environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly skilled in generative AI.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Six Sigma certification.

  • Experience in product planning and user acceptance testing (UAT).

CHI: $60,000-$70,000

The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for other locations (California, Colorado, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits depending on the position.
