Responsibilities:
Directly manage a team of coordinators.
Responsible for performance management for all direct reports.
Lead a team responsible for maintaining healthy turnaround times for our clinicians and patients by way of numerous daily maintenance workflows
Responsible for day-to-day team performance and team culture
Autonomously own ad hoc processes, audits, and projects to ensure operational excellence is maintained
Proactively identify opportunities for improved operational efficiencies and partner with respective cross-functional teams (internal and external) on implementation
Serve as primary point of contact for Tempus internal teams for workflow escalations
Partner with cross-functional team members to operationalize and scale new launches and processes
Responsible for the team’s adherence to Tempus company guidelines

Qualifications:
2+ years working experience, inclusive of team management and/or direct people management
4 year college degree, preferably in Biological Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
Experience in Standard Operating Procedure development
Experience in onboarding and training staff
Is highly organized and systematic, with superb attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
Persistent and resilient person who thrives in a fast-paced, highly iterative environment
Strong critical thinking, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
Skills and Abilities:
Comfortable working within an environment with a high degree of ambiguity
Strong people management and leadership skills
Strong ability to organize a daily, weekly, and monthly workload by priority for both the team and individual workload
Consistently takes a proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills
Resourceful with the ability to uncover solutions, learn new skills, and take on challenges
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment is key
Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)
Is highly organized and systematic, with superb attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and complete tasks with a high degree of accuracy
CHI: $55,000-70,000
The expected salary range above is applicable if the role is performed from Illinois and may vary for other locations (California, Colorado, New York). Actual salary may vary based on qualifications and experience. Tempus offers a full range of benefits, which may include incentive compensation, restricted stock units, medical and other benefits depending on the position.
